Jubilee Mugs From ASDA

I don't really remember the Queen's Silver Jubilee back in 1977 as I was only two, well almost three to be exact. However, I do recall the photographs that my parents had of the street party which was held in the street in which we lived, in a photo album. There I am sat at the end of a very long table surrounded by adult and children dressed in 1970's style red, white and blue clothing.

Anyway, last week I received a surprise parcel in the post, which, when the boys and I opened it, we found to be containing these Jubilee mugs.

They were a gift from ASDA and very nice they are too as they are something I can put away for the boys to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with, as at the ages they are now, they don't know what all the excitement is about this coming weekend. I know that my Mum has some commemorative mugs from 1977 for my brother and I, so I think these two items are something for my two to have when they are older.

Sporting one of the official Diamond Jubilee designs, which I think is very fresh and contemporary, these mugs are are available to buy from ASDA right now. They are very reasonably priced too:

The portable coffee or tea mug is just £5 and is lovely and heavy and makes a nice change from the aluminium travel mugs that are usually available to buy. I think tea would taste much nicer from this!

The Jubilee mug retails at just £3 and is ideal for any Earl or Lady Grey tea bag, as well as your more everyday tea bags of course!

These are just a couple of the many Jubilee products available in ASDA stores.

I was sent these items as a gift, and I was asked to give them a little mention on my blog if I liked them. I do and therefore I have, and all comments expressed are my own.
