I was sent a food box for the month of June, their launch month, and it was all about Greek cusine. I was amazed by how much I received and very impressed with the quality of the goods and the recipe cards - the photography and standard of these was very high and will be kept in my recipe book cupboard afterwards.
I cooked the orzo but did my own version as the card suggested using lamb but we are not fans of that meat in this household. Instead, I roasted some peppers and onions and added it to the orzo, garlic, cassia bark (a traditional Greek seasoning similar to cinnamon) and tomatoes, adding some feta at the very end before serving. I served it with some roast chicken and it was delicous, very similar to a risotto but with a slight heat from the casia bark.
You can either subscribe to Kitchen Nomad from just £22 per month or order a one off gift subscription for the same price. You can of course do either of these on a more regular monthly basis which also reduces the cost.
I think this is excellent value for money because if you were having a dinner party with a themed menu, you would have all the tools you need to get your evening started. Personally, I would be chuffed to bits if I recieved a box as a gift as I love to have something that little bit different and not run of the mill.

I was sent a box from KItchen Nomad for the purpose of this review. All comments made about the product are my own and honest.
your Orzo looks lovely - I really liked ours & would definitely eat that again - still not convinced about the vine leaves though!
