My Week That Was #23 (Project 365)

Hoop Rolling (152/365)
It's Growing! (153/365)
Two In A Tub (154/365)
Slide Jumping (155/365)
A Couple Of Coastguards (156/365)
Little People Outdoors (157/365)
Pub Lunch (158/365)

Sunday - today Daddy finished redecorating the front porch and I helped a little  but my help was mostly cleaning and making cups of coffee until I added the finishing touches once all the painting had been done! The boys and I played in the garden and Burton spent a while rolling the hoola hoop and jumping through it.

Monday - Burton has a sunflower growing project from pre school and here he is proudly posing for a photo which I had to email to Ladybirds to show the plants progress. I am surprised it has flourished as most plants die in my care! Normal Monday of pre school (Burton) and playgroup (Jenson and I)

Tuesday - it was really hot today so we spent all day out doors and after lunch I filled a plastic tub up with water and plastic containers to allow the boys some water play. They, on the other hand, had other ideas and used it as a paddling pool! It must have been very cold!

Wednesday - I made these yummy chocolate orange cupcakes  this morning and as it was another glorious day we spent it outside in the garden again and Burton decided that playing in just his pants and tee shirt was most fun!

Thursday - we had a lovely morning at Appledore beach looking in rock pools (and crossed off 2 of the 50 Things To Do Before You're 11 3/4) with their Granma and cousin.  We also got to visit the RNLI centre as Burton grazed himself on the rocks and the coast guard let the boys try on some helmets!! Then we all came back to our house for lunch and more outside fun playing in the garden in the soil! A bath was very much needed afterwards with all that sand and soil!!

Friday - we played in the garden with the farm and village sets to begin with but then it started to rain! So we ended up visiting my Mum and Step dad for a few hours which was an interesting car journey as the sunroof on my car decided to fly off as I was driving along the dual carriageway!! Luckily, no one was injured, no cars damaged and I was able to retrieve my sunroof from the central reservation (with my Step Dad's help) and it was in one piece!!

Saturday - it was another glorious day so after playing outside this morning we went out for lunch to a nearby pub and sat in the beer garden. This afternoon we went to Granma and Grampy's so that the boys could  play with three of their cousins in the paddling pool and we all stayed for a BBQ and have just got home! The boys should be knackered - it would be lovely if they slept in tomorrow but I doubt it!!!

  21. Ha love the two in a tub! Thank goodness your sun roof flying off didn't cause any incidents! that must have been pretty scary and thank goodness you got it back as I bet a new one would cost a pretty packet. Can't believe how cold it's been here again today and those chocolate cupcakes look delicious, I've started to put my thinking cap on for the girls birthday cake - I've got 6 weeks to come up with something
