There's A Worm At The Bottom Of The Garden (116/365)
Sunday - we pottered about today, visiting B & Q for some sockets, and M & S so Daddy could buy a new suit for work. Then it was the F1 (boring!) so the boys and I played outside before visiting Granma and Grampy quickly where Jenson was allowed to 'drive' down the track to their house.
Monday - Daddy returned to work and Burton went to Ladybirds. Jenson and I attended a toddler playgroup this morning and enjoyed an indoors picnic for lunch. When Burton arrived home the three of us played hide and seek in the garden in the drizzle.
Tuesday - I took the boys to town to get their feet measured and then we went to buy them some tee shirts for our up and coming Butlins holiday soon (I am optimistic we will get some sunshine!!). Afterwards we visited their great Gran and then spent the afternoon at Granma's where they played outside and Burton was trying to get Jenson to mess about on the climbing frame. Luckily, Jenson ignored his instructions!
Wednesday - It rained pretty much all day so we went to a soft play centre all morning. Didn't do much this afternoon , just played indoors.
Thursday - Ladybirds for Burton and Jenson and I went to Torrington to see Lisa and Joe and we visited my old cafe again for lunch and a park so the boys could have a run around and use the playground equipment. Jenson came up in some kind of viral rash but it got worse as the day progressed so I took him to the doctors after collecting Burton. He was prescribed some antihistamine so I am glad I decided to take him. He is fine in himself though which is why I wasn't too worried.
Friday - The sun came out today and although a bit cold it meant we could play out in the garden. When Daddy finished work we took Jenson out to try his balance bike out for the first time and he did quite well, despite Burton wanting to have a go!!
Saturday - another sunny day!! The four of us tackled the garden today - grass cutting, pruning, raking and cutting out the over grown shrubs and brambles. The boys loved helping and found several insects like this worm. We also made some 'perfume' by adding petals to a jam jar of water. This afternoon while Daddy power washed the paving, my Mum and Step Dad paid us a visit so we took the boys on a walk to the park and then they stayed to tea.
Ooh good thinking teaching Jensen about driving ;)
