My Week That Was #11 (Project 365)

Mother's Day (69/365)
My beautiful home made card - after a crap week of feeling so ill this really cheered me up.

Monkey Having A Bath (70/365)
Jenson gets quite upset when he is without his monkey and I normally try to wash it while he is asleep but he had to have a bath today because he looked so grubby. So long as Jenson could see him having his 'bath' all is well.

Rubbings (71/365)
I took the boys out in the garden today to do some crayon rubbings on various wooden objects in our garden which they both really enjoyed. Here they are feeling some sunshine on their faces

Handsome (72/365)
Sometimes I cannnot believe how fast my biggest boy is growing up and I almost have to catch my breath when I think about him going to school in September. Nice to have a photo of him not pulling a silly face!

Torrington (73/365)
While Burton was at pre school, Jenson and I visited my friend in Torrington where I used to live and work and we visited the cafe I used to own which I haven't set foot in since I sold it 3 1/2 years ago. It was a lovely sunny day too and here is Jenson playing in my friends garden.

Ilfracombe Aquarium (74/365)
It poured down with rain all day so I took the boys to a local aquarium which they both really enjoyed.

Pooh Sticks (75/365)
Visited my Mum and Step Dad today as it was the latter's 60th birthday on Wednesday. This afternoon we went for a walk and played pooh sticks and then we had to take shelter from a thunder and lightening and hail storm!! Exciting - I don't think I have ever been outside during a storm like that before! Luckily it only lasted about 15 minutes.

  19. Lovely photos. My little boy likes to see his bedtime elephant in the washing machine too - I have to get it through the machine and dry so it's back in his bed for nap or bed time, so thank goodness for the airing cupboard!! Your boys have some fabulous hats, and I love the shot of them doing rubbings outside :)

  27. What is it with washing machines?! Mine have all been fascinated with them. Bella at the moment is particularly taken with the dishwasher- keeps trying to climb inside it!
