Films For Easter 2012

I received a lovely surprise today. After answering my door to the postman (who actually hadn't given me long to answer and was already writing out one of those red cards asking me to collect a parcel from the sorting office!), I was handed a large yet light box.

Sadly for Burton, who was at Ladybirds today, it was Jenson who got to 'help' me open the box to see what was inside. This is what we found

Another DVD bundle from Warner Brothers especially chosen to co-incide with Easter (hence, the little chicks and the goodies being presented in a basket).

The films are

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory
The original classic version of Roald Dahl's amazing story starring Gene Wilder. I have seen this several times over the years and it is always a feast on the eyes to see.

Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
Tim Burton's modern adaptation of the book is visually stunning to watch and I really enjoyed it the couple of times I have seen it. Johnny Depp is brilliant at playing the eccentric and slightly mad Willy Wonka.

Bugs Bunny's Easter Funnies
The Easter bunny is unwell so a replacement needs to be found but who will fill his floppy ears?? Lots of Loony Tune favourite characters appear in this extended animated cartoon. I actually remember seeing this when I was a child! Burton has already seen some of this earlier this evening while he ate his tea!

Yogi Bear
"Lets steal a pic-a-nic basket!" Yogi Bear's famous catchphrase and one I myself used to impersonate when I was young! Anyway, this is a live action/CG animated adventure of Yogi and his pal Boo Boo, which I haven't seen but I am sure I will soon with Burton!

Thanks Warner Brothers - you have helped me find new titles to add to our family collection of films.

I was sent these titles and have written this DVD introduction and thank you post without being asked to
