My Week That Was #32 (Project 365)

Down The Slide Together (215/365)
It's A Rainy Sunny Day (216/365)
Paddling (217/365)
Jenson's Aqua Doodling (218/365)
Coombe Mill Farm (219/365)
Bug Hunting (220/365)
Riding Casey's Bike (221/365)

Sunday - it rained. All day. So we took the boys to the nearby soft play for the morning first thing before it got busy and they had lots of fun running around. This afternoon we played several board games which Burton had for his birthday and watched Disneys Tarzan.

Monday - it rained. All day. Again. Granma and Gran popped over first thing to see the boys and have a cuppa. This aftenoon the boys did some drawing and Burton drew this self portrait of him next to a rainbow because the sun shone and the rain came down. This picture has mow been stuck to a kitchen cupboard door at his request!

Tuesday - we played outside all morning and then we headed to my Mum's for lunch. After we ate we took Shadow for a walk near the stream and both boys went in for a dip because it was quite hot and sunny. Burton removed his trousers so he could wade in further!

Wednesday - we went to the soft play again as we had a playdate with a friend of Burton's so it was a chance for her mummy and I to chat and get to know one another. We got home for lunch and then spent the afternoon playing inside and outside. Jenson did some aqua doodling and wanted to hang them up so I would take a photo of his "lovely drawings!" funny boy.

Thursday - an early start for the boys and I as we headed down to Coombe Mill Farm which you can read about here if you wish, to meet Fiona and TBaM again. We had a brilliant day and the boys loved every minute (as did I!)

Friday - another busy day as I took the boys to RHS Rosemoor Gardens as we have never been before and they were holding a teddy bears picnic this afternoon. We arrived this morning to make a day of it and we had lots of fun doing a bug hunt, explring the grounds and having a picnic. Unfortunately Jenson got stung by a wasp and despite crying was very brave and luckily some jelly saved the day and made him feel better!

Saturday - despite two full and busy days in a row the boys were still awake just after 6am today!!! Swimming lesson for Burton this morning while Jenson and I popped to Tesco. Afterwards we went to Ladybirds as they were holding a fete and we stayed for a couple of hours. Then we went to Granma's and three of the cousins were there so lots of playing outside was had and Burton decided to have a go at riding Casey's bike. Casey is 7 so this bike is a bit bigger than Burton's but he managed to ride it nonetheless.

I am knackered, Daddy is snoring already on the sofa and the boys have gone to sleep. I feel like I have had a busy week that was this week!

  10. You have been busy this week missus! The stream photo is lovely but your youngest son makes me laugh as he has perfected a very cheesy photo smile! Any body would think you take a lot of photos of him?
