Happy Birthday To Me (172/365)

Sunday (Father's Day) - bit of a rubbish day really. It rained all day, OH was grumpy after yesterday's car breaking down fiasco and he had to book a train in the end to attend a course which he has to start this afternoon in Milton Keynes! The boys and I entertained ourselves by reading, drawing, playing and making a quick visit to Granma and Grampy's to collect things which we left in the car last night (which is parked at theirs for now). The photo shows Burton drawing a picture of Jenson outdoors on the green frass with a blue sky and some sun - love it.

Monday - Ladybirds for Burton and toddler play group for Jenson and I. The photo shows Jenson and I on my bed after I had a shower and washed my hair this evning, after he had 'helped' me to get dressed and brush my hair. I really like this photo of the two of us

Tuesday - we went on a bit of an adventure today as we unexpectedly ended up visitng my Nanny for the day . We travelled up with my Mum in her car and surprised Nanny who was so pleased to see us. We spent a lovely day and visited the park in the village my Nanny lives which I have not been to since I was a teenager. The boys and I caught a train home back to Taunton (where my car was parked), their second time on one, and they were so good.

Wednesday - We spent the morning food shopping which resulted in Burton having a bit of a melt down over some ice lolly decision making - he is just tired from Saturday and yesterday being busy days I think. This afternoon, my Dad and Step Mum came to visit us today who we have not seen for almost a year! They ended up staying the night (I had no idea this was going to happen!). The photo was taken at bath time when the boys were messing around and making me laugh.

Thursday - Ladybirds time again! While Burton was there Jenson and I returned home where my Dad and Step Mum stayed wiht us until lunchtime. After they left I feel bad to admit that I stuck Peppa Pig on after lunch for Jenson to watch while I wrote a blog post so I would have time tonight to pack for Britmumslive tomorrow. After collecting Burton I took him and Jenson to Granma's where they are staying the night so I can leave early tomorrow for London. As soon as we arrived the mummy duck and her ducklings approached them for bread. I love how the boys ares stooping like the ducklings and it was not intentional.

Friday - Off to BritmumsLive today. I set off from home at 5am and arrived at Victoria almost an hour later than scheduled due to London traffic! I met my brother who booked me into get my hair wash and straightened for the conference, and then we went for lunch at Pret A Manger! Then I had to dash off to meet all my wonderful blogging friends at BritmumsLive!!! I will write a separate post on this but it was so wonderful meeting new blogging friends and catching up with exisiting ones. Here I am with the beautiful and so lovely Fiona from Coombe Mill.

Saturday - My birthday!!! Happy Birthday to me.
Day 2 of the blogging conference and after another night of not a lot of sleep where I shared a room with Aly from Plus2Point4, who is lovely, we made our way to The Brewery for more chatting, laughing, tears and chatting! I met so many wonderful people and evetyone was so lovely and friendly. I had to leave early to catch my coach home and arrived back ay 9.15pm where a chinese dinner was waiting for me and some homemade cards from my sleeping boys which I will look at tomorrow with them.

And now I may head off to bed where I hope to get more than 4 hours sleep!!

I love those birthday cards, the best sort to have and keep for ever, Jensen does not look too happy in the bath picture.
