Bath Letters (137/365)
Sunday - bit of a damp day weather wise but while Daddy watched the F1 I took the boys on a bluebell hunt. This afternoon we popped over to Granma and Grampy's to collect some 'stuff' which we had stored there when we moved house before Christmas - there will be some e-bay action soon as a lot of the stuff is now obsolete for us.
Monday - Ladybirds for Burton and toddler playgroup for Jenson and I. Whenever I arrive home in the car now, Jenson insists on getting out via my seat so he can have a go at driving it!!
Tuesday - it rained all day!! I tidied up the boys playroom first thing and rearranged a few things and then decided to set up their Happyland sets, animals and people on their road mat to amuse them for a while. It did until their Grandma and Gran arrived for a quick visit! After lunch more playing and then we watched Ice Age 3 and had a picnic tea while watching it in the lounge.
Wednesday - Another trip to the soft play - now I have paid my £9.95 annual membership, I only have to pay for Burton who is 1/2 price with my membership (under 3's are free) so its a cheap visit and an ideal place when its wet outside! I like this photo because it shows Jenson sat down and his fidget of a brother who cant sit still!!
Thursday - Burton off to Ladybirds again. Jenson and I did some housework - and I managed to sort my bedroom out at last! Yaaaay! Jenson loves helping me tidy up . At lunchtime he asked to sit at the table in a big boy chair (ie. no high chair) and I bought some 'Billy Bear' ham (I know its not actually ham) to see if he would like it. After our trip to Butlins last week and meeting the actual 'Billy Bear' , he was excited to try it and ate 2 slices and giggled the whole time.
Friday - we were outdoors after breakfast and while I hung the washing on the line the boys played with their remote cars. We saw that the tree was shedding blossom and it looked like snowflakes - the photo shows the boys watching it fall. Their cousin Laurel cane to play for a few hours and have lunch so lots of running around the garden and bouncing on the trampoline ensued.
Saturday - what a beautiful sunny and warm day it has been today! We went out on two outdoors adventures a National Trust visit and a trip to some woods, with lots of walking, climbing, stick finding, stone throwing (into water), ice cream eating and lots of fun and smiles!! By bedtime I had 2 sleepy boys who enjoyed their bathtime and have now gone to sleep!

ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! Your Happyland pic is a great shot, and I love the ones in the bluebells and under the blossom tree. My two are really into blossom at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you always manage to get your boys together looking happy. One of mine lways looks the wrong way, grumpy or pulls the others hair haha they all made me mile but the bath one is extra cute xx
ReplyDeleteI think your boys are going to love climbing that tree when they get older!
ReplyDeleteThe bath letters are so cool, think z would like those!
ReplyDeleteI love that bath shot, such fun! Have you got rid of the shed? Sure there used to be one behind that tree?
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Project 365.
Aww the bath pic is so cute!! I need to get my little one some bath toys now!
ReplyDeleteLove bluebells and looks like the boys do too!
Love the bath pic - made me smile :)

Ahh I now have a bigger appreciation for the wonderfulness of boys (plural!!) looks like a very happy week for your two playing nicely together, a taster of things to come for us!! X
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really happy week for the boys despite the weather. Love the Happyland pic and the two ones of the boys by the trees (like the way you've repeated that motif - was it deliberate?).
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos of the boys. I especially love the bath one, and I love the perspective of the one of them playing on the road mat.

ReplyDeleteI love the photo of the boys in the bath! So funny and cute. They could be the next Jedward-I'm Burton, He's Jenson and together we are Benson! (sorry, a little carried away there)
ReplyDeleteJenson looks SO grown up in the photo of him driving your car. I can't believe how much older than Harry he looks when there's only a few months in between them xx
My oldest boy had a road mat. He used to have it out on the landing and fill it with cars and trains. Even had accidents on there with ambulances and fire engines!!
ReplyDeleteWe used to call billy ham 'face meat'!
What a great week and they always look like they are having so much fun. xx
ReplyDeleteLovely photos as always. I love the driving one and the bath one :-)
