When I was a youngster I used to enjoy a bowl of warming Ready Brek in the mornings before school. Although I never did get encased in the orange glow that the TV advert would make me believe, nevertheless it was a great start to the day especially the way my Mum would make it - not too runny and not too stodgy; just a nice consistency.
I was recently sent some packs of Ready Brek Squeezers, a new smoother porridge which include either strawberry or chocolate squeezy sauces.
The idea being that kids can have a bit of fun while parents can be assured that their children are eating a nutritious and filling breakfast.
So on Sunday I made four bowls of Ready Brek and the four of us got creative *ahem* with our squeezy sauces to see what art we could display on our porridge.
It was fun, yes and the boys certainly got stuck in and tried to squeeze some patterns onto their breakfast BUT I have to say that with the exception of Daddy the boys and I did not manage to make anything recognisable. I found it quite hard to squeeze the sauces out.

The strawberry and chocolate flavoured sauces do add a bit of sweetness to the Ready Brek and colour once they are mixed in, which saves needing to add any sugar.

I love love love Ready Brek. It's the only porridge I like! Those squeezers look like a good idea for kiddies.
