Flashback Friday - I was tango-ed 1994

This weeks photo is from my second year at university at the start of the new term after returning from the summer break. I am showing a crime against fashion - check out the orange satin shirt I am wearing!! It was all the rage in the early 1990's you understand!!


I was also wearing a short black satin skirt and Katrina is wearing a silver satin dress - satin was the 'in' thing then!!

This was taken before a night out at the student union - where the entertainment was a man with his black Labrador who could hypnotise people (?!) followed by another very 90's activity: a foam party!!

Despite my 'I have been tango-ed' look I did get a snog that night, so not all bad hey?! Lol

    I used to have an orange outfit that I wore with orange lipstick, eyeshadow and blusher...eek! That was in 1984 though!

    You were ahead of the fashion crimes then lol mind you I had an orange jumper with yellow jeans back in mid 1980's too (not satin tho!) as those colours were in weren't they? Yuk lol

    I always wanted to go to a foam party but never did. All is not lost though, it's not far to Agia Napa from me an they are still going strong there, might feel a little bit too old though!

    Crimes against fashion and studenthood go hand in hand. If you looked immaculate and stylish then you were doing it all wrong!

    Muhahahaha I love how I can look at your photos and die with embarrassment that I dressed the same. I had a black satin skirt, black satin trousers and I had some dodgy over-sized satin shirts. Great flashback :)
