Today sees the release of the zingtastic 'Zingzillas The Album', which is available on Cd and digital download NOW!
However, the lovely Louise over at Rock And Roll Baby World very kindly sent me a copy a few days earlier than it's actual release, to enable me and Burton to check it out and share with you our review of it.
I must be honest when I first saw Zingzillas advertised on CBeebies , I was a bit unsure of whether or not to let Burton watch it as I thought it might be a bit old for him as he was approaching his first birthday. However, because it is on while I prepare tea I ended up putting it on while I am in the kitchen, to keep him entertained and stop him from following me! Well, it was a hit! Burton LOVES music and 'dances' to the Big Zing songs and gets excited when each coconut countdowns to that part of the show!
So we have listened to the album about 4 times now and it is actually rather good! Burton and I cut our groovy moves to the songs and he laughs at my silly mummy dancing lol! The great thing about Zingzillas is the different musical influences that perform with the monkey band, from an orchestra to a rock band, from jazz to samba and even opera! My favourite track on the album is infact The Big Zing Opera song but all 26 tracks are catchy and fun!
The RRP of 'Zingzillas The Album' is £9.99 which for 26 songs I think is excellent value. So before coconut number four has dropped down, get your copy of this album as I am sure your youngsters who are familiar with the show will love it! It woube a shame not to own it really, infact it would be a DISASTER!! (cue manic music and the Beach Byrds)
