Cow Beastie Egg (Hotel Chocolate) Review

When I was recently contacted by email asking me to review a Hotel Chocolate Easter egg - I didn't take long to reply with a resounding yes please! Any excuse to sample some of that delicious gourmet chocolate - yum!

I was sent the Cow Beastie Egg . I really like the way in which is packaged : just a cellophane bag tied with ribbon - simple yet effective, so that the beauty of the chocolate egg is not over-powered by masses of cardboard and plastic vac form packaging.

Once free of its wrapper, the egg is a sight to behold - the markings look like that of a cow which is the all natural cocoa butter cow transfer which encases this hollow cast milk chocolate egg. The chocolate is not too rich or sweet either, just the right balance on the palette.

This scrumptious chocolate delight also comes with 6 mini chocolate eggs : 3 are filled with praline and 3 are filled with an oozing salted caramel sauce. Mmmmmm - seriously good, so rich and decadent this egg gift would make a welcome sight on Easter Sunday.

At £15 it is a luxurious Easter egg and a lot more than I would spend normally, but as a gift well I would be elated to receive one from the Easter bunny. It does taste good.

Why not spoil your loved one - or maybe just yourself - with the Cow Beastie Egg this Easter?
It's udderly delicious!

I was sent an egg for the purpose of this review. All comments made are honest and my own.
