Little Dish, the company behind those nutritious ready meals for children aged 12 months and over, found in several well known supermarkets refrigerated sections , are proud to be the partner for the Barnardo's Big Toddle 2012.
Big Toddle? You may be asking yourself? I myself asked the same question. Let me explain.
The Barnardo's Big Toddle is the UK's biggest fundraising event for little people under the age of 5. The best way to describe it is a children's 'mini' sponsored walk I guess. There is no distance restrictions - the walk can be as long or as short as your child wishes to walk. The most important thing is to just have fun, to get together with friends and raise some money for a very worthy cause. The message that Barnardo's tries to convey with this fundraiser is that it's all about children helping other children. I think that's a lovely notion.
Each year there is a dressing up theme and this years, its 16th, is Superheroes so your children can dress up in some fun costumes - and lets face it what child doesn't like dressing up in fancy dress? What a super way to raise some funds
Anyone can set up a Big Toddle, maybe your local playgroup or nursery or maybe just with some friends of your children. You can register online here and find out more information here.
