This week with the exception of Wednesday, we have been out and about doing the following
Making bird fat cakes for the RSPB bird watching weekend (although we had no birds visit us afterwards! Charming!)
We went out in torrential rain to find some muddy puddles - it was worth the wind and wet weather to see them enjoy themselves so much!
And we visited the playground to do some climbing
To feed some hungry and friendly ducks (shame about the annoying sea gulls though)
And almost lost a welly boot in a deep puddle!
And collecting stones from the driveway (simple things and all that!)

the bird cakes look fab, we might have to give this ago...they look like they are having a great time in the muddy puddles xx
ReplyDeleteI love that you go out even if it is chucking it down. I'm such a wimp.
ReplyDeleteThe bird ball is a brilliant idea to get the boys involved in. x
That last photo is gorgeous! I am so taken with your 20 minutes a day and the boys look delighted with their adventures and not at all bothered by all the rain and puddles. A delight to see, thank you for linking up.
ReplyDeleteThey seem to love the puddles in particular, fab expressions! Totally agree that even a little, simple time outside is way better than staying in. Love the gruffalo hat! X
