This animated feature length film stars Sammy and Ray, two leatherback turtles and friends forever. While enjoying an atoll’s water and sand, and shepherding new hatchlings Ricky and Ella out to sea, a poacher swoops in suddenly and ships them all off to be part of a spectacular state of the art aquarium show for tourists in Dubai. The kingpin and baddie of the acquarium, Big D the seahorse, enlists them in his plans for a great escape. Along with their new friends Jimbo the bug-eyed blob fish, Lulu the snippy lobster and a whole family of penguins, Sammy and Ray hatch breakout plans of their own. Then when little Ricky and Ella arrive, they are determined to break in to rescue their new friends. After a series of thrilling adventures and narrow escapes, our heroes head south to meet up with Sammy’s first and only love, Shelley.

With a release date of February 15th, 2013 this will be an ideal film to take your youngsters to at the cinema during half term.
