'Branching Out' (6/365)
We visited a nearby National Trust property today and embarked (lol!) on a bug hunt which was a lot of fun but we all got very muddy! Afterwards Burton had a go at climbing trees (with help from Daddy) and enjoyed sitting on a branch like oo-oo (the monkey from Raa Raa The Noisy Lion)
'My Trolley Dolly' (7/365)
Granma took Burton to ladybirds and then she, Jenson and I popped to Tesco and then we went and had a drink in a coffee shop as we never got around to doing so before Christmas. This is a little tradition she and I started a few tears ago where we would always visit Costa every December to indulge in one of their hot drink specials, but December proved to be too busy for us to meet so we agreed we would make a date in the new year.
'Finding A Stone' (8/365)
Determined to continue my getting out every day resolution, the boys and I spent an hour playing outside in the garden this morning. Burton rode his bike and Jenson the ride on train as well as some falling over on the slippery decking! They also enjoyed finding stones!
'Kick' (9/365)
Granma and cousin Ben came for the day and as it was dry the children played outside all morning, riding Burton's bike and scooter while Jenson discovered he was good at kicking the ball around from the front garden to the back garden! I think he enjoyed the fact that with Ben here, big brother didn't want to play with the ball! After lunch Granma and I took the boys on a little walk to see the diggers and crane at work as next to the holiday let some new houses are being built.
'My Sleeping Baby' (10/365)
This morning the boys and I, Jenson in the buggy and Burton on his scooter, made our way to the garden centre to meet with Granma and Gran for a drink and a 'mooch' about.
This afternoon a friend and her toddler popped round and Burton got a bit over excited (to put it mildly!) and was a bit of a handful! When they left Jenson fell asleep on me while Burton watched a new Scooby Doo (old skool ones) DVD.
'Hide And Peep-O' (11/365)
With OH back I had use of the car so after I dropped Burton off at Ladybirds, Jenson and I went and did the food shopping. When we got home Jenson enjoyed playing with me and having free reign of the house and the toys to himself!!
Tonight I went out for a delicious curry with some friends in Torrington - its been a year since I last had a night out (all 3 1/2 hours of it) with friends.
'Grown Again' (12/365)
We all popped into town this morning and I took the boys to get their feet measured and Burton was very excited to be allowed (at last!) to have them checked on the measuring machine! Both boys are going to need new shoes!
Rest of the day was wet and windy so not very exciting.
Look at Jenson's gorgeous eyelashes! Always the boys eh?! Although C has really thick long lashes like these. Another fun filled week for you all. Love the photo of Burton in the tree! So brave! x
ReplyDeleteBranching out is a fabulous picture. Finding so much inspiration from 365 makes me realise that i need to do more with my boys though. Its very positive.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and looks like a busy week. Love the one of Jenson asleep and how brave is Burton climbing that tree!
ReplyDeleteI think Jenson has stolen the show this week especially with that sleeping picture. Sounds like a busy, but fun filled week, for you. Glad you got a night out - can't quite believe that it's that long since you had a night out. You need to do it more often.
ReplyDeleteSome fabulous shots but Jenson sleeping has to be my favourite, so very tender <3
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Love the branching out, looks like great fun!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy and fun week - the pic of Jenson sleeping is absolutely beautiful! x
ReplyDeleteI love the one on the bike. I think Burton must have been showing Jenson his stones there. Great to see them enjoying their new garden together.

ReplyDeleteThat photo of Jenson sleeping is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture of Jenson, so adorable x
ReplyDeleteLove these pics. Those eyelashes are amazing! J's are very long too and it's often the first thing that is commented on which is funny! I didn't know there are feet measuring machines out there!!
ReplyDeleteI've got a shot of The Boy holding onto that machine as well! I've just commented to Mr. TBaM how Jenson reminds me of The Boy at that age; I think it's the hair and chubby cheeks. I do like his hair that length.
ReplyDeleteLove the branch shot and the cuddly photo.
Thanks for linking up.
That sleepy face is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Gorgeous sleeping photo and love the tree shot, great to see children have fun climbing trees.
ReplyDeleteStunning especially Jenson asleep - moments to treasure!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, love one with Jensen asleep. The foot measuring machine looks very sophisticated..different from when I was a Clarks Fittist (back in the 70s)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos as always - the sleeping one especially x
ReplyDeleteI love Burton in the tree photo. I am sure it won't be long before Thomas is doing this! :-)
ReplyDeleteI used to love climbing trees. You are doing well with National Trust :O)
ReplyDeleteLoved scooby doo too :O)
like the branching out, not to mention the getting his feet measured, technology is wonderful
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely week. You do so well to get out each day. We're really struggling at the moment, mainly because Little Miss is still so small and has had a cough, and of course the endless potty training. The photos of your boys always make me smile. I love the one of Burton in the tree- just like Oo-Oo!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love the one up the tree especially. Climbing trees is such fun
