Stompeez Slippers : A Review

For her 3rd birthday Burton's cousin was given a pair of slippers that looked a lot of fun and had him and his other cousins laughing and wanting to try them on, as they featured a crocodile which snapped its mouth open and shut.

Those slippers were Stompeeze the latest crazy indoor footwear craze to hit the shelves. Having taken the US by a stomp these cute and cuddly slippers are bound to be a popular idea for a gift this Christmas!

We were sent the Blinky Eyed Monster to review, and as soon as Burton tore off the outer wrapping  he couldn't wait to try them on.
"Me like these Mummy! They are really funny!"

To start with he and I couldn't work out how to make the eyes pop open!! We knew they did this as this is the fun and unique feature of these slippers, and we had seen his cousin make this happen with her Stompeeze!

Anyway, eventually, with a bit of help from Daddy, we realised Burton's feet were a little small for the slipper as your heel needs to press down on a pneumatic button at the back of the product to activate the eye!

Well once we had sussed this we had a lot of fun and laughter opening and closing the eye of the Blinky Eyed Monster. The slippers are sold according to age so although I asked for a small size for this review, there is plenty of room for his feet to grow into them. So maybe at three years he is a little to young for them still, despite his declaration that he is not!

Priced at £14.99 they costs more than your average slipper, but then these are not your average slipper so as a potential Christmas or birthday present I think they would make an ideal purchase. Available in 7 varieties,  Stompeeze are ideal for both boys and girls and certainly keeps toes warm aswell as offering a funky and fun design to cheer away those winter blues.

I was sent a pair of Stompeez! slippers for the purpose of this review. All comments made about it are honest and true.
