The Gallery - Education

This weeks The Gallery theme set by Tara over at Sticky Fingers is EDUCATION.

I really wanted to post a selection of old school photos as I looked awful in most of them, but unfortunately for those of you wanting a good giggle, my Mum was unable to dig them out for me!

Still never mind because thanks to the wonders of that other popular social network site with face and book in the title, I was tagged in some primary school group photos. Anyone who has visited my Flashback Friday photo from a few weeks ago will know already that I had a wonderful hairstyle circa 1984 / 1985 and looked a bit like a boy due to the school tie I wore.

Anyway, judge for yourself. This is my primary school called Shaw Cum Donnington from when I lived in Newbury, Berkshire before my family and I moved to Devon in 1996. The first photo shows the 3rd and 4th years (I was in the latter) and the second photo shows the entire school. I am the tallest one - which for some reason allowed me my own row in the second photo!!

    hmm I was always the tall one. Don't know what happened, because now I'm 5ft 4.
    Love the photo's - I have a few of these, but don't think I could subject anyone to them ;)

    I also went to small primary schools and have fond memories of them. I loved it when I was the oldest girl in the school x

    Lovely memories. My husband gets the badge of "the tall one" in all his school photos. He was neary 6ft leaving primary school!

    I was prob stood on a chair as the back row was on a bench, in the second photo. The first one is all me :)
    Bump has dropped now so it is more comfortable in one sense, but walking anywhere is hard as it's pushing down heavy on my bladder!! Xx
