Honey Monster Honey Waffles - Product Review

I was recently asked to review HONEY WAFFLES the brand new breakfast cereal from the Honey Monster.

I remember when growing up the infamous Honey Monster television adverts, where the huge, loud and disruptive Monster would burst onto our screens plugging his SugarPuffs. Mayhem, disruption and things getting broken would always happen whenever he appeared! Sounds a bit like me lol!

Well having been away for a few years now, the Honey Monster is BACK and this time he has a new cereal for you and your family to eat. HONEY WAFFLES are a multigrain cereal that I found to be very light and crispy. Made from wholegrain wheat and oats, and "boosted with vitamins and iron they are a rich source of naturally - occurring fibre". Plus they don't contain any artificial colours or preservatives so HONEY WAFFLES are a great wholesome start to you and your family's day.

Remembering how sweet sugar puffs were I was dreading that my adult sweet tooth would not be able to tolerate the sweetness of this cereal. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that HONEY WAFFLES are not that sweet at all and again unlike sugar puffs, they stay crispy even when covered with milk. Having found out that they were not too sweet, I let Burton try some and he enjoyed them too!

So my overall opinion? Surprisingly I would give HONEY WAFFLES the thumbs up and reccomend them as a healthy breakfast cereal suitable for all the family. I was not sure what to expect but they are actually very tasty. It appears the Honey Monster has reinvented himself successfully .........or has he?!
