The Gallery - Watch Out! Here Come The Girls

This weeks The Gallery theme set by Tara over at her fabulous Sticky Fingers blog, is 'Here Comes The Girls'.

I have decided to share some holiday snaps with you taken in I think 2002 (baby brain memory lol), when myself and my two friends from school went to Tennerife for a week. Following her painful divorce, Kimberly asked Beth and I to go on holiday with her as she needed cheering up and to get away from everything that was so painful at home. If memory serves me right, the time share apartment we stayed in was actually her ex's and we got it really cheap or possibly free, thanks to him and him not knowing we had booked it or something - yay! Basically she got one over on him :) which served the lying cheating bar-steward right!!

It was a great week, we travelled up to Gatwick by good old National Express



We arrived to beautiful sunshine and spent most of our days by the pool reading and chatting, and our evenings eating and sipping cocktails



We visited the area where scenes from Star Wars were filmed, went on a jeep safari (and got terribly wind swept)and went whale watching for the day aswell!




We had charicatures of ourselves done one night - can you tell who is who ? Lol

On our last night we asked Kimberly to choose what we should do and she wanted to go to a show at some posh Teneriffe version of a theatre and have an expensive meal before hand in the adjoining restaurant. So we spent the afternoon making ourselves looking beautiful, like you do

It was a very special end to a fantastic, funny and friend- tastic week! The main thing was Kimberly enjoyed herself and found her smile again after months of upset :)




It was a shame to have to go home
