Festive Finds - Toddlers

Ok so as I have said before in my posts so far this month I LOVE Christmas!!!!!

I especially LOVE buying gifts for my loved ones and friends and now that I have children the present buying is even more exciting!!!

Following a post that the lovely 'Me' from TheBoyAndMe did a couple of days ago where she gave suggestions for gift ideas for toddlers I thought I might be as bold to do the same.

I am doing this because after seeing the post that TheBoyAndMe  wrote I actually bought one of the gifts she recommended and further more I visited some of the websites mentioned in that post and bought more. so I figured word of mouth is a perfect way to help other people, especially if like me you were/are still wondering what to buy your toddler.

ANIMAL HABITAT PUZZLE
available from Toy Genius and costs £6.95

TheBoyAndMe  did actually suggest this gift and as soon as I saw it on her blog I knew it would make a cracking stocking filler for Burton

GIANT ROAD PUZZLE
available from Orchard Toys priced at £13.50

I had thought about getting Burton one of this road map rugs, but when I saw this I thought this would be excellent. Not only is it a jigsaw but its a jigsaw puzzle of a road which Burton will be able to move his cars along once it has been completed!! The best of both worlds I think.

PALLY PIRATE NOAH
available from Toy Genius for £18.95 (currently on offer, down from £24.95)

So firstly, this is made from wood which I am a big fan of (despite all the plastic toys we do have in the toy cupboards!). Secondly, it is 2 construction toys in 1, either a pirate ship or a noah's ark can be made. The pirate ship come with 2 removable masts supporting the ships sails, a toilet canon, a turnable steering wheel, a chest which opens up and 3 sorting blocks. The noah's ark on the other hand, comes with 6 sorting animal and a construction cabin. then its wooden base can also be used as a pull along raft for carrying Noah and his animals. This toy will really let Burton use his imagination (just hope we don't lose any parts!)

SHOPPING LIST
available from Orchard Toys  for £7.25
This is a memory game and a way of learning about what we buy from supermarkets and what shopping items are called etc... You have to race to fill your trolley with certain items from a shopping list.

I wasn't sent these items to review. I bought them for stocking fillers and all comments are my own based on that of a Mum buying for her toddler.

  1. Wahoo! Thanks for linking back to me and I am so pleased that I could help. It amuses me that those are all items I've been sent to review! It makes me happy that my recommendations are noted :-)

  2. Once the game is 80% complete you will need to work on the sound. If you don’t have much skill in programming, but still think that creating and developing games is the most suitable for you, there are special courses that will give you training in graphic designing, game development, and computer animation. It's fast to build and play and will challenge your memory.
